DVB-H takes off in Poland

Finally DVB-H, broadcast Mobile TV, sees some traction in Europe. I still strongly believe that broadcast mobile TV is the way forward atleast over the medium term

DVB-H takes off in Poland

Mobile TV broadcaster INFO-TV-FM has started broadcasting signals in the country’s capital city of Warsaw and has commenced negotiations with the country’s cellcos to commercially launch the service in 2010. INFO-TV-FM currently broadcasts 12 TV channels free of charge in Warsaw but only mobile users with DVB-H compatible handsets can receive the signals.
